HOOKED FOR LIFE Ministries is teaming up with Colonial Avenue Baptist Church of Roanoke to do an HFL Camp in Pittsburgh, PA. During the week of July 21-25, HFL will be working with 50-100 children from the inner-city area. We will be teaching them basic fishing skills and sharing God's word with them. Our goal is to equip these youngsters with basic fishing skills and equipment so they can enjoy fishing after we leave. It's our hope that they will use fishing and faith as alternatives to the many temptations that they face on a daily basis.
We will be posting pictures from the trip as we are able. If you would like to support this mission trip please contact us. We want to give every child a rod and reel, stocked tackle box and some devotional material. We estimate it will cost about $20 per child to do this. Remember, your contribution is tax deductable and all of your donation will go directly to each child.
